Is there anything better than helping someone who’s helped you? (Hint: There’s just 1 thing. It’s even better when you know that person could help so many others with a little boost.)
That’s why working with Genna Jones, founder of GJ Fitness for mums, has been such an amazing experience (and it’s not over yet).
The Client
Genna Jones is a postnatal personal trainer and group fitness coach for new mums that want to rebuild their strength and take the time to prioritise their health.
She’s on a mission to help new mums heal their bodies and find and a community of like minded mums to support them on their journey AND they can do it without the added stress of finding childcare or being away from their little ones.
The Deliverables
I met Gen at her classes, so I can tell you first hand just how amazing she is. She played a huge part in me believing in myself enough to take the leap and start Sian Writes Copy. At first, I noticed that Gen didn’t have an about page on her website. With Gen’s warmth and personality being the biggest thing that sets her apart, it was crucial that we showcase that on her website. From that point we started talking about the tweaks we could make to her website to get her more bookings and help her towards her long-term goals to scale.
A few months later, Gen was the first to be The Second Opinion audit and she snapped up the offer.

We started with an about page to showcase Gen’s story and what makes her the perfect person to help new mums across Carmarthenshire. The copy addresses common hesitations head-on: that you don't have to be "ready," that you can show up tired or emotional, and that you won't be treated as just another booking. This is all routed in what I know to be true from attending Gen’s classes.
The Best part?
As I mentioned before, this honestly felt like a full circle moment. Gen helped me so much after having my little one. She helped me to recover, made me feel safe in the gym again and most importantly helped to give me the confidence I needed to start this business.
It’s my mission to help other business owners to grow their business without shady marketing tactics. Helping someone that I genuinely think will help to transform the experience for other mums felt like a perfect step on that journey.
